Concrete Vibration is a study on the power of sound to create form
I have always been fascinated by how invisible forces generate recurrent patterns that are recognizable as universal symbols (crosses, triangles ,circles) and in the mathematical harmony found in nature (golden ratios, Fibonacci sequence, fractals).
By applying these sound patterns to a material as solid as concrete, the compositions draw inspiration from both architecture and archaeological crafts to offer a new perspective on what we consider traditional vs modern aesthetics.
The series explores the relationships of space, scale and time to challenge perceptions: each structure could be perceived as both a small artefact or large megastructure; an ancient temple or futuristic spaceship.
